Steve tensed under my hands. A tiny part of my brain, somewhere in the very back of my mind, started screaming that his tension would feel so much better if we were both naked and sweaty, and not out in public. I punched that part of my brain right in its grey matter, scolding it like it was a kid who’d tried to set the family cat on fire. His sudden tension had nothing to do with sex, just like my hands on his body had nothing to do with sex. The tension was all business, all morality, all Steve being worried for someone in danger.
I lowered myself down to stand flat on the ground, my hand still at the back of his neck. My face beamed up at him, the oh-so happy girlfriend shining her beacon of emotional pleasure up at her loving boyfriend. My eyes were hard and serious, showing him that I knew just how fucked Andrew would be if we didn’t try to help him. Even with my Oscar performance staring him in the face, Ste

Fingers brush against your skin, rough texture but with a gentle touch. First your face, sliding down your cheek to your neck, and past your shoulders. Lips softly caress your throat. The hands move to your waist, grabbing you more roughly, and you want it to stop.
“No, please!” You cry out.
“Shh…” The voice aims to soothe, but does the opposite.
You raise your voice. “Valentin!”
A hand smacks down on your mouth, preventing you from finishing your sentence. Your admirer bites down on your collarbone, too hard to be pleasurable, and you wince. Blood trickles down your chest. Please stop, you think, tears slipping down the sides of your face.
But nothing will stop this.
“Wake up, damn it! (y/n), please!” You know this voice, and it does not belong to Valentin or Tobias. This voice is different, it is special. It is his.

Small Town Mystery [Steve Rogers x Reader] Part 18Small Town Mystery [Steve Rogers x Reader] Part 18 by sscejm4A
Several hours passed, and you continued to nap off and on, thankful to have Steve to lean on. Bucky sat flipping through newspapers and magazines, not focusing on anything in particular. Ryan spent most of the time on the phone. Curiously, whenever he would text, a grin would appear on his face, sometimes a chuckle would escape his lips.
A doctor came into the room, his gaze falling on you. “Rachel Cole’s family?” he asked.
You all stood, but Bucky approached him first. “How is she?”
The doctor raised an eyebrow and looked past Bucky to you. You looped your arm through Bucky’s metal one, feeling a little surprised at the coolness of it. “He’s part of her family. How’d the surgery go?” You felt Steve behind you, his hand on your hip.
The doctor nodded and smiled. “The surgery was a complete success.” The audible sighs of relief made him pause. “She had some internal bleeding, but she’s healthy and

When you woke up again late at night the bed was cold and empty. You slowly pushed yourself up, rubbing the sleep from your eyes. It was completely dark inside the room, but you didn't need your sight to know something was wrong. Steve was gone.
You felt your heart beat violently in your chest and your stomach turned as your mind started racing, coming up with all kind of terrible scenarios. You quickly got out of Steve's bed and made your way to the door. You called out for him softly, hoping he was in the bathroom or watching TV in the small living room next door.
There was no sound whatsoever.
You walked out onto the hallway, seeing the moonlight illuminate your way to the kitchen. You didn't dare to breath as you looked down, seeing little drops of blood lead your way down the hall.
'Oh, no...' you whispered as you started running and tried to keep yourself from crying.
You had done all you could, even enhancing the cure with some of the components of doctor Erskine's original seru
